Heated Mogok ruby of 4.20 carats — the same legendary source as #1, but with the standard thermal enhancement that has been industry practice since the 1970s. Heat treatment at controlled temperatures clarifies fine inclusions and stabilises colour without changing the chemistry of the stone. The colour is a vivid red with the soft Burmese fluorescence intact under UV. The oval cut shows even saturation across the table, and the inclusion field is clean to the unaided eye. Heating is the universally accepted enhancement for ruby and does not significantly affect long-term value for treated material from premium sources. Lotus Gemology report L8923 confirms Mogok origin and standard thermal enhancement.
