Burmese "Jedi" Pink Spinel 3.90ct

spinel · 3.90 ct · Myanmar, Mogok Valley · certified by SSEF — fractional on-chain ownership on CaratShares.

"Jedi" spinel of 3.90 carats from the Mogok Valley — "Jedi" is the trade name for the highest-saturation neon pink spinel from a narrow band of the Burmese deposit, used in the gem trade for material whose colour has the optical electricity of fine paraíba but in pink. Modern Jedi production is small parcels per year, total worldwide. Cut as a princess — the modified square brilliant, unusual for spinel, that focuses light into corner sparkle rather than crown reflection. Untreated, internally flawless. The colour walks visibly across the face under daylight versus incandescent. SSEF report 110334 confirms Mogok origin and untreated status, and uses the "Jedi" trade descriptor in the comments — a designation that elevates pricing significantly above standard hot-pink Burmese spinel.
