Tsavorite garnet of 6.70 carats from the Mozambique Lalamo deposit — a newer source than the established Tanzanian Merelani field, with output that runs cleaner on average and trends slightly bluer-green. A round brilliant at this size in tsavorite is rare because of the proportional yield loss; most cutters opt for cushion or oval. Untreated, internally flawless, with the high refractive index and dispersion that gives tsavorite its visible "fire" — closer to that of demantoid than to emerald.
