Brazilian Citrine 42.00ct

citrine · 42.00 ct · Brazil, Rio Grande do Sul · certified by GIA — fractional on-chain ownership on CaratShares.

Citrine of 42.00 carats from Rio Grande do Sul — the principal source of fine "Madeira" citrine, named for the deep orange colour reminiscent of Madeira wine. While citrine is one of the more affordable gem categories, large stones in pure Madeira orange are increasingly hard to source commercially. Heat treatment is standard practice for citrine; most rough is amethyst that develops the citrine colour through controlled heating. The round cut at this size yields exceptional brilliance with no windowing or extinction. An entry-level stone that opens the catalogue to investors who want the platform's structural protections without a five-figure ticket. GIA report 5219330774 confirms Brazilian origin and standard heat treatment.
